Inspired by the classic Stone Roses track ‘Waterfall’. The origins of this piece go way back – based on a mixed media painting I created over 20 years ago, I’ve revisited it over the years building up physical and digital layers to convey John Squire’s swirling guitar magic, and the essence of the song itself. The hidden lyric detail links back to the song; a subtle nod to those in the know. Waterfall is a moving, textured piece all about emotion, flow and the passage of time, and a departure from my signature bold graphic style.
